Who are we
Early in 2015 a number of scientists and engineers set up a group called
“Science and Christian Faith” as a local initiative inspired by the nation
wide movement “Christians in Science”.
The aims of the group are threefold:
●
To organise events attracting anyone interested to attend open
meetings for an informed debate on science and faith issues –
meetings for spreading the Christian gospel and attracting members
to the Three County Borders Forum.
●
To build a community of practice of committed Christians with a
science background, affiliated to the Christians in Science
movement, which in time would develop specific competences to
support local churches in issues concerning science and Christian
faith. This would develop as enthusiasm and support allowed, right
from the outset.
●
To reach out to key scientific, technological and research
establishments within easy reach, together with hospitals and
associated health care providers.
